Created by the people behind Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines, has an app that provides not just the recipes—it gives you a shopping list as well. The website features articles and dishes to please the most discerning palate.

Mmmm. Nothing says trailer-park entrée like good old mac’n’cheese with a side of fries. Photo: Stuart Spivack is the go-to site for foodies everywhere. Whether it’s a video showing you how to use string to trim a rack of lamb (just like the butcher!) or a recipe for lemon ricotta pancakes, there’s a wealth of kitchen tricks at your fingertips.

They’ll even show you how to open a beer bottle with a carabiner.
